Credits and what to do with them.

Credits are the universe's form of currency, and one of the most important things in the galaxy, and many figures of importance or even regular people are corrupt by it. However, in this site, they are even more important, and you won't get far without them. First off, you can use them to buy items, but you require them to refill your ship's  fuel tank, and without that you can't travel.

Each member starts off in their home planet with 500 credits, and they may either buy a ship (which, unfortunately, will be crappy at first) and travel to another planet straight away, or save up by doing missions first, and then buying a better ship. Be warned though, your home planets only have basic ships, and you must travel to the Stychon space station to buy better ones. You receive credits by preforming missions, which will be explained in another topic.
